Warranty - Returns - Shipping
Best Tugs™ includes a 1 year warranty on parts and 2 year warranty on the drive train from date of delivery. Warranty excludes labor and cost of shipping.
This warranty does not apply to any Best Tugs™ component part(s) that have damage caused by: misuse of the vehicle, accidents, collision or object striking the vehicle, vandalism, fire, explosion, water damage, customer-applied chemicals to painted surfaces, improper handling or application, nor does it extend to the Best Tug™ parts which have been repaired or altered outside of Best Tugs™ provided maintenance of an authorized service representative. Furthermore any modification of the Best Tugs™ electrical system MUST be pre-approved and documented in writing by Best Tugs™. Failure to do so voids the unit’s electrical component warranty.
Warranty Claim Procedure
When a warranty situation arises, it is essential that the customer contact Best Tugs™ warranty department at +1 800 914 2003. The customer will need to provide Best Tugs™ serial number and estimated service hours. A customer service representative will analyze the problem and determine the next steps. In many cases Best Tugs™ technical support personnel will be able to analyze the problem and recommend a solution that will solve the problem and reduce down time. If further service is required, a Best Tugs™ customer service representative will work with customer personnel to arrange a service provider and/or will send parts to your facility for the repair as quickly as possible.
Notice of any claimed defect must be given to Best Tugs™ within the warranty period and within ten (10) days after such defect is discovered. Liability under this warranty is limited to either replacing or repairing, at Best Tugs™ discretion, any part or parts deemed defective after examination by Best Tugs™ or an Authorized Service Representative. Best Tugs™ reserves the right to use remanufactured parts as replacements in warranty claims.
Our products are built for quality and we take pride in engineering the best tugs on the market. If you are not completely satisfied with your Best Tugs product within 30 days of your delivery date, a full product refund will be issued, less freight charges, tax, duty, and other related shipping fees. Once received and inspected for damage beyond normal wear and tear of testing, we will immediately refund the original purchase price. The tug needs to be returned in the same condition and packaging as it was received, less normal wear and tear of testing. If the tug is not received in the same like-new condition, additional charges will apply for either the cost to repair the damages, or at the minimum, a 10% restocking fee to cover parts that can’t be reused.
Any change to delivery circumstance that results in additional costs, is to be paid for by the customer/purchasing agent. If delivery is denied by a 3rd party and shipping is not delivered as facilitated by Best Tugs LLC, the customer must assume any additional costs to have tug re-routed/re-delivered. Shipping timelines are estimates and cannot be guaranteed if impacted by an act of God or 3rd party (ie. shipping companies, governments, weather, etc.) Freight costs are NOT included unless an official quote as been received via emailed invoice/estimate.
EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE, ALL WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, INDEMNITIES AND GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ARISING BY STATUTE, CUSTOM OF TRADE OR UNDER ORAL OR WRITTEN STATEMENTS MADE BY OR ON BEHALF OF BEST TUGS NEGOTIATIONS WITH CUSTOMER, DISTRIBUTOR, DEALER, OR ANY REPRESENTATIVE, ARE HEREBY OVERWRITTEN AND EXCLUDED, AND NO LIABILITY SHALL ATTACH TO BEST TUGS, EITHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, OR STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT, FOR ANY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, LOSS OF PROFITS, DAMAGES, COSTS, CHARGES, LIABILITY OR EXPENSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE, WHICH ARISE OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OR USE OF ANY BEST TUG MACHINE OR THE SUPPLY OF SERVICES.
